Brighton Zoo December & January Round Up

Remember Christmas? Seems like a lifetime ago. Well here's a look at what we were up to over the busy festive season and start of the New Year!

We started off December with the release of the initial animations from our brand new, digital-first, animated shorts project featuring our new characterful friends The Wheelios. The Wheelios are adorably, hilarious little wheel nut creatures who live in their red Radio Flyer wagon. Through the power of play and imagination, the Wheelios come to life ,bringing a dose of magic to every adventure with the wagon. The crew gathered around the TV to watch the first installment of the shorts created here at the Zoo, we can’t wait to see them as they continue to release weekly on the Radio Flyer Youtube channel and Tiktok account. It’s been another fun branded entertainment project to add to our digital-first catalogue.

We had a productive Team Day at Brighton Beach House to zoom out, review and discuss our achievements over 2025 and look forward to 2026.  We spent the morning considering our internal processes and how we can work as a team to optimise business development and production, crafting killer pitches and offering our clients smoothly managed projects with knockout deliverables. In the afternoon we considered all of the industry trends gathered from attending events such as Indielab, Tellycast and Female Founders.  Everyone on the team brought along an amazing project that piqued their interest and we then looked to the future to identify some great new targets for original IP and exciting new clients in the coming year.

To celebrate the end of another fantastic year, we all took a trip to the slammer! The team enjoyed a night in Alcotraz where they smuggled in contraband and enjoyed many secret cocktails in their cells. Following the prisoners' escape, we hosted a pot luck Christmas roast dinner in the new studio kitchen. The perfect way to end the year and look ahead towards a new year in a new space.

New Year, New Studio! At the end of January we finally began the move into our brand new studio space in the heart of the Laines here in Brighton. The space has been fitted out with two meeting rooms, a purpose built edit suite, two single person quiet call spaces and a large multi-purpose kitchen space. We can’t wait to show you the final result once we are fully up and running and look forward to welcoming you all to the seaside very soon!
