July & August 2025 Round Up!
It's been a busy few months, here's a look at what we've been up to...
Fuggler Wrap Party
We had a lovely time celebrating the end of the Fugglers project, an ensemble comedy short-form series produced for YouTube, Tiktok and Instagram. This project was a first for us, using a mixed media pipeline incorporating puppetry and animation. We are so grateful to the whole cast, crew and creatives who have made this crazy project what it is! Stay tuned for more Fuggler releases on the brand’s socials and witness some of the fun we have been having over the past year.
Supertato Wrap Party
Another project we are celebrating is the end of Supertato which will officially wrap at the end of August. This incredibly fun project has brought together so many amazing individuals from all across the country and we were lucky enough to celebrate with some of them at our wrap party in Brighton. There was lots of singing and dancing, along with so many fun games, a photobooth and even an appearance from the Tato Car (albeit in cardboard form)! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this project, it has been a delight working with the BBC again and we hope you all love it as much as we have.
Children's Media Conference 2025
The start of July saw four of us visit Sheffield for the annual Children’s Media Conference. The event was as insightful as ever - and we really appreciate the opportunity it gives us to step out of the day-to-day and fully appraise the industry, its current status and trends. We attended lots of different sessions, produced and exec-produced sessions and even pitched in the Put Your Money Where Your Mouth is session.
Life Drawing
We had another fantastic life drawing class with local company Draw Brighton, hosted by Lancelot Richardson. July’s session was a clothed session, where our model dressed up as a vampire and then a zombie! Our team had lots of fun with this month's class and continues to be a fun addition to our social calendar.
New England House Lift Party/Farewell
We will soon be saying goodbye to our much loved office here at New England House in Brighton and moving to an exciting new office still in the heart of Brighton. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces from all across the building at the ‘Lift party’ in June where we said our farewells and exchanged good luck for the future.
It has been a very exciting couple of months here at the Zoo and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store!
