October & November 2025 Round Up
It’s been an exciting few months over here at the seaside zoo!
Supertato Season 4
To start off October, we had the launch of Supertato season 4 where a total of 13 brand new episodes launched and are currently streaming on BBC IPlayer. With 104 episodes now available to audiences around the world, it’s a great opportunity for us to reflect on what a brilliant job the entire Supertato team has done across two Brighton Zoo productions. A special shoutout to Sasha Fusini for winning an award for her Storyboarding work on Supertato, a much deserved accolade for her stunning work across both series.
New Office + Sandwiches on the beach
Whilst the work on our new permanent home is underway we have been loving our time in our temporary office at The Werks on Middle Street. It’s been great to be closer to the beach, and in our first week, some of the team enjoyed their first sandwich Thursday on the seafront! We hope to continue this in the summer next year once we are settled in our new permanent home down the road. An upside of the winter months however, is being able to watch the starling murmurations close by!
Soup Season!
It is officially soup season at Brighton Zoo, an annual switch of Thursday lunchtime festivities which commences when the clocks change. We enjoyed a delicious pumpkin soup to start the season, just in time for Halloween!
Crafternoon
Speaking of Halloween, we had another very successful crafternoon organised by Rachel where many a pumpkin was craved - we even had an evil pea in the mix!
Beach Clean
Rolling into November the team took on the task of completing a beach clean, they scoured the Brighton Seafront for rubbish in support of Surfers Against Sewage Brighton. Having the privilege of being based by the sea means we must do our best to protect it and show our support to those who work hard to keep our beaches clean and safe. Thank you to Nicky for arranging this for us. We look forward to another round in the New Year.
Werks Quiz
Finally, we started our Christmas celebrations off early by attending the Christmas Quiz held by The Werks group where our office is currently based. A massive thank you to the team who made it a greatly enjoyable evening where both of our teams finished 1st and 2nd in the quiz separated by only one point. We look forward to continuing our end of year celebrations over the next month and look forward to seeing what the new year has in store for us!
