An interactive world where young learners build their own world and discover the community around them.
The Challenge
Design an engaging, educational game that introduces Reception-aged children to key EYFS curriculum topics, fostering exploration and an understanding of the world around them.
Our Approach
My World invites young learners to create their own character and build a personalised town by selecting and placing shops and houses within it. They can they undertake missions to make friends, play mini games and earn rewards. Players can explore the park across different seasons and assist people who help us such as emergency services workers, vets and postal workers. This interactive experience encourages children to learn about various environments, professions, and the weather and seasons in a playful setting.
- Interactive gameplay that promotes exploration & learning.
- Customisable environments giving children ownership of the world they create.
- Activities aligned to EYFS topics, such as 'people who help me' and 'weather and seasons'.
Behind the Scenes
For My World we developed an art style that evolved from a previous game we had made for BBC Education, Rhymeville. We were able to evolve this cute design style to create a world full of appealing assets - including our most comprehensive avatar creator ever.
Want to make learning feel more like play?
We design games that teach through curiosity, creativity and laughter - turning screen time into discovery time.
