The Challenge
Develop a digitally native comedy format that taps into influencer culture whilst using a low cost, agile, mixed media production pipeline.
Our Approach
In Living With Fugglers we see influencer, Kerry (played by Jahannah James) as she vlogs her increasingly chaotic life with her three Fuggler housemates: Bailey, Chungus, and Mizzo. Styled as a personal vlog series, each episode blends unscripted, handheld live action with lo-fi animated characters and crazily ambitious VFX, depicting a world where daily family life becomes increasingly unhinged, and Kerry's stylish home is no longer a place of refuge.

Behind the Scenes
Living with Fugglers was filmed on location in Brighton. Our director and First AD read in for our three Fuggler characters, who were then animated on top of their coloured marks back in the studio using Toonboom Harmony. The biggest challenge was keeping the crew out of shot of our 360-view handheld camera!
