2D animated vlogger pilot series built for digital first distribution.
The Challenge
Create a digital-first series for Cartoon Network that taps into the energy of YouTube-native content and provide commentary on the latest shows and games on the channel.
Our Approach
Meet Pixel & Patch, two animated vloggers who dive headfirst into the best of gaming, TV, and internet culture, coming from the CN stable. Whether they’re reacting to clips, playing new games, or offering chaotic commentary, their episodes are designed to feel fast, fun, and native to Youtube. We brought this concept to life with vibrant 2D animation, expressive characters, and digital-first pacing. Built to flex across social media and digital platforms, this series brings Cartoon Network IP to life in a way that feels casual and current. We used our bespoke puppet animation pipeline, Animoco, to deliver this content, allowing us to record all our animated content in just one afternoon!
- Innovative Animoco puppet animation pipeline allowing us to produce high volume content at low cost.
- Delivered in both 16:9 and vertical formats.
Behind the Scenes
For this project, we created two different pilot episodes of the show. This enabled us to explore both improvised and scripted versions of the format.
Think development starts with a TV show?
We do development differently. Our digital first approach builds ideas the way kids experience them across social, games, animation and beyond.
